Deep ruby robe with violet highlights. The nose combines rose, cherry and ripe plum with tertiary notes of vanilla, black pepper and sweet spices. The palate is enveloping, structured and intense, with well-integrated tannins.

- Added to the Tenuta's premium range in 2023, Marrucaia was born from lots of Bordeaux grape varieties rediscovered at the winery, to show the territory's aptitude for the Bordeaux blend. Harvested at optimal ripeness, the varieties ferment separately in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. During the 15 to 20 day maceration, pump-overs and rack-and-returns are carefully conducted to extract supple, elegant tannins. Each variety then undergoes malolactic fermentation and is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels from the Allier, half new and half once-used.
