Tasting notes

Dark ruby colour with attractive violet highlights. An expressive nose of red fruit and black berries. On the palate, a fine overall balance, present but well-coated tannins, flavours of black fruit and a hint of liquorice, through to a pleasant, restrained finish. Best enjoyed within 5 years of release to appreciate its aromatic freshness. La Tourèze is the old Catalan name of the village of Latour-de-France.

Food pairings

A wine for the table. Serve at 18 °C.
