Tasting notes

A beautiful deep ruby colour in its youth. With aeration, a broad palette combines red fruit (blackcurrant), cooked fruit and sweet spices, with well-integrated vanilla notes. On the palate, the whole is balanced, with supple, abundant tannins leading to a delicate finish. Built for ageing, it develops notes of leather, undergrowth and a complex gamey aroma over the years.
