Technical sheet PDFTasting notes
Brilliant, luminous yellow colour. The nose, typical of the grape and of the Letzenberg, offers subtle aromas of yellow fruit such as peach, and toasty notes from barrel ageing. The palate is complex, rich and broad, the finish long and straight, supported by the acidity of the clay-limestone terroir. A Pinot Gris made for the table. Serve between 8 and 10 °C. Will keep for 10 to 15 years.
Alsatian-style snails, spätzle with seasonal mushrooms, guinea fowl with red cabbage and chestnuts, rabbit in mustard sauce, pork tenderloin with green peppercorns, tarragon chicken, veal blanquette with mustard, flambéed scallops, truffle risotto, veal fillet with morels.
